Formed in 1991, the Guilds priority is to ensure its members offer their customers an unrivalled package of consumer protection, involving measures designed to promote quality, protect customers belongings and ensure complete peace of mind on move day.
The National Guild of Removers pioneered and introduced The Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme to the removals industry.
Membership of the Guild requires its members to feature the following:
- Compulsory Membership to the Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme
- Compulsory Ombudsman Scheme Approved Inspection Programme
- Ombudsman Scheme Approved Code of Practice
- Ombudsman Scheme Approved Quality Monitoring Programme
- Ombudsman Scheme Approved Complaints Procedure
